  1. The Long field is long and narrow. There is a field called the Cobbler's field because it is beside the Cobbler's Lane. The spring-well field is at the back of the hill. There is one field called the Brow field because there is a heavy brow it it. Over the brow field is the Top Hill field and in this field is the highest point in Coolroe - 510 feet high. The gallows-gate fields is where people were hanged in '98.
