    reached the place where he thought he would find the gold he killed the hen and spilled the blood around the place in order to fulfil the old tradition of "blood spilling," but during the night it is said that Reamonn's ghost appeared to him and chased him all the way back to Wexford. Nobody has ever looked for it since I suppose they are afraid of the Ghost too.
