    There is a field in Monytaigue called the "Carrigeens" which means rocks.
    Mr Hagan has a field which he calls "Sanalecca" and it means the field of the ridges.
    Mr John Byrne (Goldmines) has a field which he calls Gort na Mocha.
    Mr Tom Dillon has a field which he calls Banog.
    Shawn Beag - A little man lived here long ago and the field is called Sean Beag ever since.
    There is a place in Mr Clune's farm (Clonwilliam) called Glen na [mban], which means the glen of the wood.
    There is a field in Ballinasillogue which is called moitheen which means a flat marshy place at the bottom of the hill.
