    district are home - made. There is often a branch hung in the cow house or byre in the Summer time to bring luck. It is a leaf of a rowen tree that is hung in the byre. ( The horses )
    The horse's house which is called a stable is a large house with a place in front called a '' manger '' for the horses fodder.
    When people were calling the hens they say '' Tuk Tuk ''. People set hens on eggs, and when they about three weeks set the chickens come out. Some people are supposed to be lucky setting eggs
    When driving the cows we say '' Go on Peggy ''
    We say '' Hish Hip '' when driving cows
    '' Push - on '' is what we say when driving cows
