    the cure gets a flax threat that has not been wet. It is taken to a big stone that has never been moved. It is left on this stone and the person kneels on it. The says the "Lords Prayer" and the "breed" three times. After that there are four knots put on the thread and it is tied on the strain.
    A very good cure for the measles. which was also made was made out of "Nettles" The nettles are cut and bouled in spring water Then they are strained and the water is let cool. There is sugar and milk put on it there and it is warmed gain and a little drop of whiskey put in it This is supposed to be taken six times a day until the person is better. This is called Nettle Tea.
    I swelled throat was also cured by an heel. The herb is called "Chicken Weed" The weeds are put into a pot and roasted. Then they were put on
