    The old man got up and went with her. Fortunately enough, they came to a black old house, The old woman said to the man, come in and we will get a bit to eat. In they went, they spied a very black old woman sitting by the fire-side. She told them to sit down by the fire, and so they did. She gave each of them a vessel of Indian porridge, and they took it sweetly. Then she told them to stay with her, and so they did, and they were glad to get the opportunity.
