    out in a boat to the place where the well was. They brought a cat with them in order that some life would be lost. They let down poles in the well thinking that they would hit the pot, but while they were doing so a co woman appeared to them and told them that unless a human being would be lost they would not get the gold. When they heard that they gave up the search, and the gold never was got.
