The woman of the house handed the child the churn-dash as soon as the churning was finished. From that time on these people had no butter until one day while the neighbour was churning they went for the loan of the churn-dash and their supply of butter returned as soon as they got the loan of the dash.(This incident is said to have happened about thirty years ago in a house near The Mill Bridge)
