    'Twas in the wood I got it
    I sat down and fought it,
    Against my will I brought it home
    And it was neither flesh nor bone?
    A Thorn.
    As I went out yon guttery gap,
    I met a woman with a red cap,
    And every time she went through the gap.
    She left a bit of her tail in the trap?
    A needle and thread.
    What are the dead and the living doing at the same time? Going round with the world.
