    the left. Theyd march out of the chapel again and home. All in the chapel would be after them to see them and ridicule them and say the worst they could about both of them. They were easy known, for the bride and bride's maid wore big platters of white tulle veils, that could be seen all over the chapel.
    Sometimes the intended bride and groom went to town, and the groom bought her all the clothes and hats she wanted for the wedding. The groom also bought a hat for the bridesmaid. If they would not go before the marriage they surely went in a few days after the wedding to buy a rig for the Show Off.
    They made a holy show of themselves with everyone looking at them, and laughing at them, and banging them behind their backs.
    It would be an odious calamity for any one to get married on either Friday or Saturday. The'd never have a day's luck. Any day but these would do-Wednesday being the favourite. No matter how
