  1. There are a lot of different kinds of birds in Ireland. The most common birds are the crows and sea gulls. All birds build their nests in the end of spring Some birds build their nests on the ground. The black bird builds her nest in a hedge. She makes her nest with moss and clay and hay. She lays about five eggs. The robin makes her nest in an old ditch. She lays about four eggs. She makes her nest with hair. The swallows come to Ireland in summer and they go away in the winter. The cuckoo comes to Ireland in summer. She never makes a nest. The cuckoo lays her eggs and she puts them in other birds nests.
