  1. The fort I know of is situated in the town-land of Kilnaglare. The man who owns it, is Peter Brady. There are two forts in view of it, Degan and Derryleague. There is a clay bank round it, and there are bushes growing on the ditch. It is round in shape. There is a cart pass through it. It is a great place for cattle in the winter, also is the heat of the summer. The old people say it is very unlucky to cut any of the trees round it. There was a light seen going round it three years ago. As far as I have heard, there is no story told about it.
