It is called the Rushy Bottom because a lot of rushes grow in it. Judies field A Woman named Judie Lynch owned it. - The Night Field, The Three Cornered field, The Black Berryhill, The Fat, The Rock, The Big Meadow, The Debenture, The Strand and the Mill Bottom. The night field got its name, because the cattle used to stay in it at night. There are three corners in the field and it is called that. The black berryhill got its name because there are black berrybushes in it. The Flat got its name because it is flat. The Debenture got its name(continues on next page)
