   We have six cows and four calves at home. There are no names on any of them. We keep them out in day-time, and put them in at night. The house we keep them in is called a "byre".
   We tie them to stakes with chains by their necks.

   We have three cows, two goats, a donkey and a sow and pigs. The cows names are the Red Cow, Grey Cow and the Kerry Cow. The cows are tied by their necks with a chain to a stake in a house called the byre. The chains are bought in the shops. The place where we keep the donkey is called in is called a stable. We never clip the donkey. We give him oats and hay to eat.
