   There is a big fort near us. It is in the town-land on Clonnegonnell. It is called the Clonnegonnell fort.
   The fort is covered with shrubbery. There is a deep ring round it.
   There are cattle in the fort. There were no fairies in the fort. There is no story connected with the fort.

   I play foot-ball, tig, skipping and fairs at school. I amuse myself at certain times of the year such as nut cracking at Hallow-eve. Picking blackberries in Autumn. There is such a thing as bird lime, you put the bird lime on a stick and tie the stick to a tree or a bush, when the bird alights on the stick, his feet stick to the stick and he is caught. I never snare birds. We play fairs at school. We sell horses to one another. I sell a horse to one man and
