  2. People long ago used to make bread from oatmeal. It was called oaten bread. The names of the bread were oaten bread, wheaten bread, boxty and soda bread.
    When people were making bread they used buttermilk. They baked twice every day. And they baked four times on Saturday to do over Sunday.
