- When cattle are bought the buyer marks the cattle with chalk used for the purpose it is called Kelle. The Kelle is put on the cattle's backs. When a person buys cattle he is given the halter to keep. There are fairs for pigs in Cavan.
- My brother Albert found a coin in a field that was ploughed on the 17th June 1938. When he got it, it was all rusted he got powder and he cleaned it and it was dated 1783.
