    Around here the people do not like to see a swan coming inland. When this happens there is going to be a death in the vicinity, and, therefore the people disguise the swan.
    The right ear. The people of this locality still believe that when their right ear is exceptionally warm that somebody is thinking well of them or praising their ingenuity.
    The left ear. When their left ear is unusually warm they think that somebody is doing them some injustice or injuring their character.
    All people living in this school area, try to avoid the breaking of a looking glass. It is hardly because of the value, because mirrors of different sizes and makes can be bought now a - days for a few schillings. But they have another idea in their heads. The breaking of a looking glass means seven years of bad luck and this does not seems pleasing to any person.
    In this district the people never like to injure
