The cows are never tied by the horns or legs. These tyings were made of iron. The tyings are not home-made but are purchased. A branch of blessed palm is hung in the cow-house so as to bring good luck on the stock. There are no customs or stories connected with milking. There are no traditional stories told locally of famous horses in olden times. There are no stories told how pigs, sheep or goats first came into being. There are no stories or traditions about hens and chickens, ducks and geese and other fowl. There is no mark of any kind put on the hatching eggs.(continues on next page)
