  1. (continued from previous page)
brought the little red man with him and when they went into the house they sat down and the woman of the house made tea for them and he burned the cards and the little man said he would not stay any longer and he went out and Andrew went a piece with him and when he was going through the street he saw a heifer on the street and he said "That heifer will have a lovely calf" and so she had and they went on and when they were going across the fields he pointed over across the hill and he said "I was in that house last night and I asked for a drink and they refused me" and "let you watch and you will see a corps leaving that house in three months" and Andrew watched and a person died just when the three months was up in that house and they went on and when they came to the road the parted and just when they said "Good Bye" the wee red man disappeared into the ground at once.
People said that it was not lucky to do anything to the fairies or good people
