   1. About 27 years ago there was a cloud burst in Killeshandra. It carried away 42 cocks of hay belonging to Mr. Lough and landed them in the river Eain. It flooded many houses and it cat a shore in the middle of the street. 2. There was a frost in Killeshandra about 45 years ago. The ice was 6 ft deep on the lakes. It lasted sixteen weeks. The farmers drew stick's across the lakes. 3. There was a shower of hailstones in Killeshandra. It destroyed apples and oats and wheat. They were about the size of (a) marbles.
