He carries his bedding with him in a meal bag on his back and seeks his nights lodging in a farmer's house. An old woman comes to Andrew Reillys every year. They give her food and lodging for a couple of days.

Once upon a time a man was travelling around doing tricks, of all kinds. He was at the picture house in Mullingar. He took the bulbs down and put them in a fire they blew up and took their places.
