A watchman was in constant attention by the green, accompanied by a watch dog - bloodhound. The watch was armed with a Blunderbuss. If a step was heard the dog kept pace with it on the inner side of the fence, till it passed his boundary. As many as 3 and 4 looms were to be seen at work in one townland.
Along side are some of the many stamps which were used by the bleachers in Cloggy, and are kept still by the family as mementoes. (The rest of the page is blank)
