- Spud fixed, each player took a throw. The position of each button well watched. The best throw lifted all the buttons and placed them on a flat board in a row - heap - harp. He then gave the board a tilt so as to toss them in what he thought the best way to get good results. He chose either "heads" or "Harps" and got all that fell in such a position.
The next best "throw" took the remainder and carried on same as [?] T. and so on until all the buttons were distributed. If any buttons remained when each had tossed, the first man started off again till all were claimed.- Collector
