There did once a cow come in off the sea at Clohaneshide called the "glas gaibhneach". She used to go around to every poor house and any vessel they would put under her she would fill it with milk.
Two old hags were talking abour her one night. One made a bet with the other that she would get a vessel and the cow wouldn't fill it. She got a cib and when the cow saw her milk flowing(continues on next page)
