    The kneading board is covered with flour; the flour is gradually kneaded into the potatoes to prevent cracks appearing in the bread. A little salt is added. The bread is usually cooked slowly on a greased griddle. It is eaten when hot with butter.
    Potato-cake is still made in the district.
