  1. In Ireland there are local fairs held in every small town and village to which the people from the district surrounding the town bring the produce of their farm including cows, sheep & pigs, to sell.
    Here is this town also the farmers come to buy whatever they may be in need of in the line of cattle, sheep, pigs, and horses. Many big cattle dealers and jobbers attend these fairs to buy and sell.
    The fairs nowadays bear much rememberance to the fairs of acient Ireland in the things which are bought and sold at them.
