  1. There is an old sycmore tree in the centre of a small field belonging to Patrick Galligan, Corr, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan.
    Mass was said under that tree in the Penal Days.
    The priest stood at the foot of the tree, and the people gathered round him and heard mass therefore that tree is called "Mass Tree".
