    There is a white thorn busg along th road in the townland of Dillagh, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan.
    Long ago when English Soldiers were marching on the roads, and as they were marching by the bush one Soldier fell dead out of the ranks, and ever since it is called the Soldier's Bush.
