  1. The townland in which I live is called Dillagh. There are six houses in it they are all slated but two. There is an average of six persons to each house. They are all engaged in farming. In olden times bricks were made in Dillagh by Mr Alex Acheson on his own land they were made of yellow clay shaped and they were burned.
    All the houses in Dillagh were built of Lime, sand and bricks.
    In olden times sand was not valued at all it was given away for nothing. There are large quantities of sand in Dillagh.
    There is a large lake in Dillagh in which are perch and pike.
