    In the year 1934 a trap house owned by Mrs Smyth Gallonfree Virginia was set on fire.

    track leading down to Lough Sheelin, and that was all they could discover. It was believed that the culprit drowned himself until three weeks later a rick of straw burned and the same track was found in the same place.
    The Guards found a man lying on his face near the lake. His name was Patrick Caffrey who was under the influence of drink.
