- (continued from previous page)There is a picturesque view from this fort as it overlooks a river flowing through a green valley. It is situated in a very elevated position and commands a splendid view of Bruise Hill, Maghera Church, the school, Lough Ramor, Virginia with Murmed Hill behind it and Slieve-na-Cailleac. Several townlands can be viewed by a person standing there and many forts can also be seen.
- A man was walking along the road one night and as he came to this fort he heard some music and as he drew near he could see little men running around the fort and kicking football.
One evening as it was drawing near twilight a woman went to milk her cow. The animal happened to be near the fort so the woman commenced to milk her as she stood there. Suddenly the gallon overturned without evident reason and only a small drop was left. The woman believed that the fairies caused the milk to flow down to their underground(continues on next page)- Collector
