    The weekly wage for the men was 2/-, and this had to pay the land-lord.
    There are a few holy wells in this district. St. Patrick's well in Kelletts field of Lurgan. St. Dympna's well in Lavy, and St. Brighid's well in Raffney. St Patrick baptized some of the early christions at his well in Lurgan.
