twice a week in Summer and once a week in Winter.
Anyone that it is convient to, churns in our house. It takes over a half-an-hour to do it, and when it is finished the dash is clean of bits of butter or milk.
The churn is then cleaned down, and the butter taken into a butter tub. It is wash-ed many times and then salted. Then it is looked over to see is there any hairs in it, and afterwards made up into one pound roles.
