- Churning in the Winter takes an hour and in the Summer it only takes three-quarters of an hour. Churning is done by the hands.
- It generally takes about half an hour to churn. It is done mostly by the hand but it is also churned in a churn sitting on two legs and made of wood. The milk is put into the churn and there is a handle on the churn and when a person twists the handle the churn turns round and the milk is churned.(continues on next page)
