- A townland called Corracloughan was ruled by a family called Kelletts and they owned the whole townland. The tenants had to pay rent to them. There is still a family of Kelletts in that townland still. But there is no rent being paid now.
- In the year 1618 Captain Culme had ten wooden houses built in Virginia. The timber that built those houses was all brought from county Fermanagh. It is said that all this timber was oak(continues on next page)
