This poem was composed by William Mac Clery.

    (continued from previous page)
This dirty Egyptian she made up a prescription,
She washed all the vessels while the kettle did boil,
    While her patience she treated,
Her stomach repeated and her whole face and moustache was covered with oil.

When Mrs Mc Haphy she heard the alarm.
She pulled on her rushings and left down her broom,
She said it was a terrible thing in a civilized country
To have her shut up like a cow in a room.
This poem was made when Mrs. Brady was dying. "Mrs. Mac Haphy" means Mrs. Jameson.
