  2. There is a story connected with Our Lord and the poppy.
    It is said that when Our Lord was flying into Egypt he walked on a sod called the "good man's sod" and immediately the poppy grew.
    When the holy family were going into Egypt they passed by a robber's camp, and the Blessed Virgin stopped and asked a woman at the camp for some water to bathe the Infant Jesus.
