    level road and as they were talking a barrel rolled down the old road or something in that shape. They were standing in a bunch together as it came along and the two men in the centre had to step apart to let it pass on. It made no noise as it came along at a slow pace and passed through them and disappeared in the distance. Although it seemed strange only two of the men saw this the other two did not see it atall. Neither of the two men who saw this barrel ever drank whiskey or intoxicating drink in their lives and one of them is still to be had to coroborate this fact which occured on a bright moonlight night
