    Where the villian was standing when he fired the shot
    "Now sergeant yourself and your brave men" said he
    "Your rifles and buckshot and bayonets get ready

    And start off at once but first take a gill
    For to keep up your courage for he might be there still"
    Very quickly the men get themselves into motion
    Their bosom's high heaving with thoughts of promotion
