  1. Some years ago when clocks were not as plantyful as the are now an aged man and woman from this townland were going to the market of Bailieborough. It being a bright night they thought it was daylight and proceeded on their journey. On they way they had to pass by a fort and going around it they heard a sound of sweet music. They stood on the road to listen when a man appeared and asked them where they were going. They said that the were going to the market of Bailieborough, and the strange man said it was only about twelve o'clock and that they would be too early
