Long ago there used to be Leipreachains living in Palmina.

Many years ago there used to be Leipreachains living in Palmira. They used to be called fairies. No one ever interfered with them.
They were only two feet high. They used to be dressed in red. They used to be shoemakers.
One evening Miss O'Brien from Mullagh was milking cows where it was said that the fairies were living. She heard children crying. Then she heard a voice saying "Hush hush you will soon get milk." When she was leaving the field she fell and spilt the pail of milk. When she went home she fainted and only lived two days after that.
