    There are many customs attached to the farm animals, The pigs are rung to keep them from rooting. They are killed for bacon and sold in the fair.
    When the cows thieve we spancel them.
    We clip the horses every year to keep them clean.
    When milking a kicking cow we say, "Th- e- nish."
    When a cold is born we put a split in his tail to keep him from taking blackleg.
    When the sow is farrowing we sit (sell) with them to keep her from lying on the pig.
    Young pigs are called suckers and when they get big they are slips.
    When calling the hens we say "chuk chuk".
    When driving the geese we say "leg, leg" and when driving the ducks we say "tweet, tweet
    We put rings on the pullets
