The burning of Ballinagh was caused by the Protestants or yoemen, and some of the property such as linen and cows was brought to the Billis, and Harry Mc Gommery brought a two year old child from it, and reared it in Drumfomina. Long ago the yoemen used go to every fair in Ballyjamesduff, and march around the town with a gun and sword keeping law and order, and they oftened tryed to provoke a row.- Collector
