  1. There are handles on the sides of the churn. The churning is done by hand. When the churning is finished the butter is taken off the milk and made up into pound weights, and sold in the market. The churn is put together with hoops. Sometimes strangers come to help at the churning and bring home butter-milk with them. When the butter is taken out of the churn it is put into a basin, salted and washed.

  2. The game I play are:-
    Washing tonbar A boy or girl hides his eyes in a corner while the other children hide. Then he comes out of the corner and looks for the children. When he sees any of them he calls out their names and says "One, two, three washingtonbar and runs into the corner, before the children he calls
