  1. Some people take no care of their feet in their youth, but when they grow up, they have chilblains, corns and many other ailments. There are a a great many old cures for these ailments. If you put paraffin oil on your chilblains it will cure them. If you rub methylated spirits into chilblains it will cure them. If you have chilblains wash your feet in tobacco and water; it will take the soreness out ofmthem.
If you have corns, wash them in washing soda and water, it will take the soreness out of them. If you have corns, wash your feet in cabbage water it will cure them. If you have corns wash them in washing soda, and soap and it will help to cure them. If you corns are itchy, it is a sign of rain. If you were paring your corns and you bled them the cut might turn to bloodpoison. If you bath your feet in salty water it will cure corns.
