  1. My Home District. Corlea.
    My home is in the townland of Corlea, in the Parish to Enniskeen in the Barony of Clankee. There are about eighteen families and about seventy people in Corlea. Family name most common in Corlea is McKeon. The houses are thatched. The oldest person is Mrs Boyle, Corlea, Kingscourt.
    She tells no stories either in English or Irish. The houses were more numerous in former years. There are a good many of them now in ruins. People emigrated to America and Scotland in former years. The land is very good and some parts of it
