Games I play
The games I play are swinging, skipping, hiding, hand ball, high gates, blind mans buff and gathering nuts. When sitting around the fire at night I play cards and draughts.
Skipping is played by two girls holding each end of a rope and winding it. Then another girl runs into the middle of the rope and skips. It is also played by a person holding each end of the rope and winding it and skipping at the same time.
Swinging is played by tying a rope to the branches of two trees. There is a rope tied to one side of the swing to pull the person who is swinging backwards and forwards. There is a cushion placed in the centre of the swing for the person to sit on .
