There were lights seen by people on this fort at a late hour of the night. There was no music or churning found that I heard of. - This fort is also a "lios" or "rath." It is situated in the townland of Knocknashammer in the face of a rock.
As you stand on this fort you look across at Casselys Fort in Carrickacromin
This fort is circular in shape.
It is surrounded with whins and whitethorn bushes. There are two lone bushes on each side of it.
There is no entrance hole visible but the locals say that it is visible to the fairies.
On this account no one has ever explored it.
