    thresh one stack and a half in one day. "Anne the thresher" who lived in Drumleague used to thresh all the corn in one day.
    "Tom the Barrister" who lived in Artina was a barrister, and John the Councellor from Lappin used to plead the cases in court. The barrister committed suicide by hanging himself some years ago.
    John McGee who lived in Drummatrade was a dreaded fighter. It is said a man died from the result of his blows. He died about ten years much to the joy of all.
